In the case of multi coordinate machining, the application of flat bottom end mills includes two methods: side milling and end milling
Side milling method: mainly used for machining a type of surface (called ruled surface) formed by rotating, translating or synthesizing a straight line as the generatrix, and is an important application of multi coordinate machining. The profile can be formed in one go by the cutting edge around the end mill, with high processing efficiency and effective guarantee of profile quality.
End milling method: When used in conjunction with side milling method, it can meet different processing needs.
