There are two main requirements of CNC machining fixture: First, the fixture should have sufficient accuracy and rigidity; Second, the fixture should have a reliable positioning benchmark. When choosing fixtures, usually consider the following points:
1) try to use adjustable fixtures, combination fixtures and other common fixtures, to avoid the use of special fixtures to shorten the production preparation time.
2) Only consider the use of special fixtures in mass production, and strive to simple structure.
3) Loading and unloading work pieces should be quick and easy to reduce machine downtime.
4) The fixture should be installed on the machine accurately and reliably to ensure that the workpiece is processed in the correct position.
