Application of superhard cutting tools in production.

After years of research and exploration, China has made great progress, but in the super hard tools, application of superhard cutting tool in the production is not widespread. The reason mainly has the following several aspects: 1) understand the production enterprise, the operator of thehard turning of superhard cutting tools not only, is generally believed that the hard materialgrinding tool; 2) that the cost is too high. The initial cost of hard turning tool than ordinary carbide cutting tools (such as PCBN high than ordinary carbide expensive, but its share of more than 10 times) on each part than the cost of grinding is low, and the benefit is much better than common cemented carbide; 3) on the processing mechanism of super hard cutting tool of research is not enough; 4) superhard cutting tool processing specification is not enough to guide the production practice. Therefore, in addition to deeply study the processing mechanism of super hard cutting tool, must also strengthen the training, the successful experience of demonstration of superhard cutting tool processing knowledge and strict rules, so that the processing method is efficient, clean and more applied to actual production.
